![]() Isn't the cover of The Christmas Cat lovely? Unfortunately, it's out of print now, but it's probably around second hand. Happy holidays to all! I hope you enjoyed Christmas at Rothgar Abbey in WINTER FIRE. I've put up a Christmas page with a number of treats for you. There's a picture of a presepe similar to the one Genova took to Rothgar Abbey. There are also some failed beginnings for the novel. I had trouble deciding where to begin in and these scenes ended up being cut, but I think they're good scenes anyway. There are links from there to the cut scenes. Here's the list of upcoming books. WINTER FIRE should still be available. The reissue of FORBIDDEN is out now. In March, SECRETS OF THE NIGHT will be out again. This is a change from January. In May, a new book -- SKYLARK -- a Company of Rogues book about Stephen and a youthful friend, Laura, now a widow whose child is in danger. Nicholas lends a hand, as does David Kerslake from The Dragon's Bride. As you'll guess from that, SKYLARK mostly takes place on the south coast near the location of The Dragon's Bride and has a slight connection to smuggling. One of the research books I used for Dragon's Bride is now on line with maps and pictures. You can read it here. The section on Beer is of most relevance. About Beer. Something special for June -- my first omnibus edition. My publisher is putting together the three Georges in one trade paperback edition called THREE HEROES. This will include The Demon's Mistress, The Dragon's Bride, and The Devil's Heiress. Even if you've already bought these you may want the new edition which has the most wonderful cover. Check it out along with the details for the other books above on my recent books page. From June on we have a gap because I'm trying a more relaxed writing schedule. The next new book will be out in spring 2005, but DANGEROUS JOY will be reissued in December 2004. Some of my books are out now in unabridged audio from Recorded Books. May you have a joyous season, Jo Beverley Back to the site menu
